The Book of Metal RPG

For the last four years (on and off) and with over 600 hours put into the RPG Maker VX Ace software I’ve finally finished my first ever game – The Book of Metal.  Firstly here’s a video of the first 15 minutes of the game:

XCOM 2 Co-op Campaign Mod

We’ve downloaded the Long War co-op mod for XCOM 2 for a bit of co-operative campaign gameplay, but unfortunately bugs and glitches prevent us from finishing the mission we’re attempting.

RPG Maker Music Side Project

For the past few years I’ve been putting together a game called The Book of Metal using the RPG Maker VX Ace Software – for those who don’t know what that is it’s a… erm, RPG Maker, allowing the user to create retro-style video games in the style of SNES-era classic games like Final Fantasy I – VI and Chrono Trigger to name a few.

As you can guess my game is heavily musically-themed, and after not finding the built-in fantasy jingles to be quite what I’m looking for in a metal-themed video game I decided to make my own using a program called Music Maker Jam, which is perfect for those of us without an ounce of musical ability whatsoever.  Some of the earlier efforts are appalling but I think I’ve now got a reasonably decent soundtrack to compliment the game I’m working on; a combination of syth-style 16-bit era music fused with metal and rock.  With that in mind I’d love to hear your feedback on what I’ve put together so far.

 

New Year, New Videos

Alright, so updates here hasn’t exactly been regular over the past two years, but we’re still going strong despite content not being as frequent as it used to be.  With that said we’re making a new years resolution to keep this blog updated with everything we do – from the videos on our YouTube Page to reviews and such here.

Grand Theft Auto 5 Complete Heist – The Prison Break

WWE Fantasy Booking – First Raw Show

Welcome to the world of fantasy wrestling booking as Pete fires up Total Extreme Wrestling 2016 to simulate what could happen in the WWE Universe going through Fastlane and WrestleMania.  At first we’re generally sticking to real-life feuds and upcoming matches before ultimately going off in our own direction, so if you have any ideas or requests let us know in the comments.

We’re beginning with Monday Night Raw in week 1 of February, starting off feuds between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens and Goldberg and much more.

Pool Nation Video – Skill Shots or Flukes?

We’re whipping out our hard sticks for a game of Pool Nation, as the skills shots come thick and fast. Are they the real deal or flukes? Shouldn’t take you too long to decide.

Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes

This should really be called ‘Guaranteed To Argue Simulator,’ at any rate we’re trying to keep a cool head when we have a crack at bomb defusing in Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, as we take turns being both the defuser and manual reader.
