The Forest Part 2 – New Features, Adventures and Screaming

For part 2 of our playthrough of The Forest Alan gets Pete up to speed on some of the new features of the game since the last time we played, including an updated opening video, better fighting mechanics (when we’re not having our arses handed to us), the ability to trade and as you’ll see at the end a new breed of cannibal that scares the holy hell out of Pete.

The Forest Co-Op – Starting Out

 

For our first adventure into the PC survival horror game The Forest we disembark our broken plane after a gnarly crash landing and… promptly get murdered by local cannibals.  Things don’t get any better from there even after we managed to build a shelter, as Alan gradually loses his rag as things go from bad to worse.

Ark: Survival Evolved – Fun or Not?

We’ve done our first Ark: Survival Evolved video, detailing our base camp and differing opinions on the fun factor.  Alan has put nearly 200 hours into the game and loves every second of it, whereas Pete has done just over 30 hours and has accomplished little more than building a small hut and spending the other 98% of the time foraging for supplies.
